About the Role

As a Retail Customer Service Officer with Australia Post, you will play a vital part in helping Australians service their own businesses and communities. You will be the face of our organisation, providing exceptional customer service to millions of people who walk into our offices every year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Sales and Service Transactions: Perform sales and service transactions with customers, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.
  • High-Value Transactions: Manage high-value transactions accurately, handling cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
  • Identity Services: Conduct and process identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.
  • Sales and Promotions: Promote our products and services through up-selling, cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks such as stocktaking and record maintenance.
About You

We're looking for someone who is friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. If you have experience in customer service and/or cash handling, we want to hear from you

What We Offer
  • A Competitive Salary: Earn a loaded casual rate of $33.66/hour, increasing to $35.98/hour after 3 months, plus 12% superannuation.
  • Ongoing Training: Receive extensive training on commencement, covering Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:06pm over an initial 5-week period.
