About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our national HR team at K&L Gates. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide professional HR services to staff and partners in our Melbourne office, while also contributing to various national HR projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the clerkship and graduate recruitment programs, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
  • Support the team with seasonal clerkship recruitment, partnering closely with universities to organize clerkship events.
  • Assist the team in daily HR functions, including resourcing, administration, performance management, induction, pay, workplace behavior, event coordination, leave management, and learning and development activities.
  • Be one of the first points of contact for staff, supervisors, and partners on general employment-related matters.
  • Contribute towards health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives in line with firm policies and current legislation.
  • Help establish and actively participate in industry networks to profile the K&L Gates brand and attract potential talent to the firm.
