Senior Systems Engineering Professional

Leading the development, implementation and maintenance of systems engineering, integration and testing activities is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge aerospace vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of systems and test engineers in the development and execution of systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle.
  • Manage systems engineering activities from concept to deployment ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other Engineering Leaders for alignment and project success.
  • Continuous improvement of company tools and processes for systems engineering, integration and testing activities.
  • Coordinate systems engineering training initiatives for engineering team members.
  • Team management for shared systems engineering resources.
  • Creation and technical review of systems engineering artefacts.
  • Oversee integration, testing and specialty engineering activities including reliability analysis, FMECA and root cause investigations.
  • Perform top-down systems design for new products including functional analysis decomposition and requirements derivation.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor degree in an Engineering or STEM discipline.
  • Experience as a team lead, engineering manager or coordinator in a fast-paced environment (approximately 5+ years).
  • Hands-on experience in systems engineering (approximately 5+ years).
  • Familiarity with the full systems engineering lifecycle from operational concept through to system verification and deployment.
  • Strong leadership with a supportive approach.
  • Agile decision-making and logical problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Resilience and adaptability in complex environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Jira and MS Project.
