Improve Maternal and Child Health through Home Visitation.
Job DescriptionThe Australian Family Partnership Program is a voluntary, evidence-based initiative that aims to enhance parents' life course and improve maternal and child health. Registered Nurses/Midwives and Aboriginal Family Partnership Workers collaborate with eligible women from early pregnancy until their child turns two.
Working in Alice Springs, the Nurse Home Visitor and Family Partnership Worker develops long-term relationships with clients to support them in recognizing their strengths, building skills and confidence, accessing services, and improving their life course.
The position offers a high level of autonomy, flexibility, and personal satisfaction for professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on families.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registered Nurses/Midwives or Aboriginal Family Partnership Workers
- Experience working with Aboriginal communities highly regarded
