Senior Management Accountant Role

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the monthly financial closure, ensuring timely reporting and accuracy, as well as analyzing financial results to identify patterns and assess operational influences.
    • Work closely with management teams to present financial findings and actionable insights, as well as prepare detailed reports to highlight cost behaviors and overall business performance metrics.
    • Manage tax-related accounting entries and perform related reconciliations, while also contributing to audit preparations and responding to internal and external audit inquiries.
    • Provide financial guidance and training to stakeholders as required, leveraging commercial acumen and solid analytical abilities.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by delivering precise analysis and meaningful commentary, using proficient ERP systems like SAP or Oracle Netsuite.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA qualification and a minimum of 5 years in an accounting role, preferably with a manufacturing business.
  • Commercially minded individuals with strong stakeholder management skills, able to explain complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Self-starters who work well both independently and with cross-functional teams, leveraging their analytical abilities to drive business outcomes.
