As a Goodstart Educator, you will play a crucial role in our team, collaborating with Senior Educators and our Educational Leader to develop and enhance outstanding learning programs for children. About Goodstart Bayview Heights:

Our center accommodates 75 children daily across five distinct rooms, featuring three spacious outdoor areas. It includes a dedicated Kindergarten yard, ample shade, natural elements, and a variety of loose parts for imaginative play.

Conveniently located near shopping centers and a local primary school, our center promotes flexible working arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance. Our team is diverse, with staff members fluent in Spanish, English, and First Nations languages, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.

Our Centre Director offers mentorship to all staff, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development. She exemplifies the values and behaviors expected from the team, including professionalism, dedication to children's education and well-being, and adherence to best practices in childcare. By actively participating in daily activities, the Director sets a standard for staff to emulate, offering constructive feedback and encouraging continuous learning through training and educational programs. Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check.
