Our organization is seeking a Traffic Engineering professional with experience in traffic impact assessments, modelling & analysis, design & strategy, data collection & analysis, report writing, and client communication. The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field and have 2-4 years of professional experience in traffic engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Traffic Impact Assessments (TIAs): Prepare and assist with TIAs for land use developments.
  • Modelling & Analysis: Conduct traffic and transport modelling using industry-standard software.
  • Design & Strategy: Contribute to road network design and develop transport strategies.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Undertake site inspections and analyse data to inform project outcomes.
  • Report Writing: Prepare professional technical reports for clients and government authorities.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, planners, and local councils to progress projects.

About You

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Have 2-4 years of professional experience in traffic engineering within a consultancy or government environment.
  • Have a solid understanding of Australian and Victorian transport policies, guidelines, and standards.
  • Be proficient in SIDRA Intersection and have experience with other relevant software.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
