About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our waste management team as a professional who can develop and implement strategies for effective waste management practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and implementing policies and procedures in line with regional, state, and federal priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to enhance waste management practice within the region.
  • Relationship Building: Establish working relationships with regional and government organisations to promote corporate objectives.
Requirements

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Contract Management Experience: Proven experience in contract management and delivery of strategic projects.
  • Budget Management: Ability to manage budgets and expenditure in line with long-term financial plans.
  • Data Analysis: Demonstrated experience in database management, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Waste Services Sector Knowledge: Understanding of the waste services sector and regulatory environment.
  • Leadership Experience: High-level experience in the delivery of waste management services in a local government context.
