Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment, working closely with the catering team at Lone Pine Barracks (Singleton). As a full-time position, you will receive comprehensive training and support while embracing a fun and collaborative team culture.

The Position
  • Support the catering team in a fast-paced and busy environment
  • Assist with basic food preparation, including vegetables and salads
  • Contribute to stock control, quality reporting, and temperature monitoring
  • Maintain kitchen, food preparation, storage, and service areas and equipment to a high standard
  • Ensure strong awareness of hygiene and food safety standards
The Person
  • Hold a valid driver's licence for driving company vehicles
  • Experience in a commercial kitchen is beneficial but not mandatory; on-the-job training is available
  • Be highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrate attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Display a 'can-do' attitude and drive to take on any task required
