About the Opportunity
The Learning and Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing capability, capacity, and service delivery across the organization by collaborating with others to develop innovative and effective learning solutions.
This position involves proposing strategies, designing, developing, and maintaining facilitator-led, self-led, and blended learning programs that cater to diverse needs.
Key responsibilities include consulting with stakeholders to determine specific training needs, reviewing and evaluating learning and development programs, and providing professional advice on suitability and effectiveness of learning solutions.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs.
Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a demonstrated understanding of adult learning theory and practice, experience facilitating learning solutions face-to-face and virtually, and experience using eLearning authoring tools.
The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for promoting workplace safety, equity, and diversity, and acting in accordance with organizational values and behaviors.
This role offers opportunities for flexible working arrangements, continuous learning and development, and recognition for innovation and leadership.
Job Requirements:
