Electoral Education Program Manager Role Overview

The Australian Electoral Commission is seeking an experienced program manager to lead the delivery of its community and adult education program. This exciting opportunity will see you working on impactful engagement activities across government, managing matters relating to resource development, co-design with target audience groups, consultation with internal and external stakeholders, project management, procurement, and contract management.

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Strategic thinking skills by providing significant contributions to innovation and business improvement strategies.
  • Experience developing and managing work plans, implementing monitoring processes that ensure work is on track and delivers against strategic objectives.
  • Ability to manage staff and perform diverse tasks, ensuring quality outputs.
  • Collaborative skills with the ability to build and manage relationships with business areas and external stakeholders, to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes, and facilitate cooperation.

Mandatory Requirements

- ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration, or eligibility to obtain on commencement.

Desirable Requirements

- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant professional experience in education, teaching, training, and assessment, or a related field.

- Experience with the use and implementation of contemporary digital education resources such as video casting, serious educational games, or virtual reality products.
