Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

About the Role:

This position is a key part of our professional team, contributing to the overall design capability. It's a project-focused role involving engineering design for mining, minerals processing and utility sectors.

The ideal candidate will have experience taking on various roles within a project from design and planning stages to finalisation and delivery. Their career should include project design experience in minerals processing applications, power generation, power distribution/transmission or the utility sector.

Key responsibilities include high voltage engineering design, power line design and experience working in a consulting capacity. The ability to use power simulation software is also essential. Additionally, the successful candidate will be willing to perform site work and commissioning, as well as travel to remote locations.

This role offers the opportunity to develop skills in a pro-active, friendly team environment that specialises in innovative electrical engineering design.

Requirements:

  • Evidence of an Electrical Engineering Degree, recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • A positive can-do attitude.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills – written and spoken.
