This is a detail-orientated role who is great with numbers, passionate about delivering fantastic customer service.
You will report to the Payroll Manager and be responsible for delivering accurate and confidential payroll services in accordance with relevant legislation, awards, and agreements.
- Run smooth on time accurate payrolls (weekly & fortnightly)
- Maintain payroll governance and compliance to support identification and resolution of payroll risks and issues Handling leave reconciliations, journals, and EOFY processes
- Keep our payroll systems updated
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to keep everything moving
- Contribute to process improvements and team projects
Ideally you have 2 years' experience as a Payroll Officer within a Manufacturing, or FMCG industry.
Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, EBAs, and awards
Computer literate with Intermediate Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP highly regarded)
Experienced in ADP Payforce, ADP Realtime, Kronos, Time and Attendance, and Workday
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders and customers
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and coordination skills with a sense of urgency, results focused, with high attention to detail and analytical mindset
- You have a can-do attitude, are flexible, adaptable and customer focused in everything you do
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
We offer a hybrid role working 3 days per week in office and 2 days from home (Initially full time in the office when training)
