
Detailed Oriented Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll systems, delivering accurate and timely payments to employees. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and fortnightly payrolls in accordance with relevant legislation, awards, and agreements
- Maintain payroll governance and compliance, identifying and resolving potential risks and issues
- Manage leave reconciliations, journals, and EOFY processes
- Ensure payroll systems (ADP Payforce, ADP Realtime, Kronos, Workday) are up-to-date and functioning correctly
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement projects
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience as a Payroll Officer in a manufacturing or FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, EBAs, and awards
- Intermediate Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP highly regarded)
- Experience with ADP Payforce, ADP Realtime, Kronos, Time and Attendance, and Workday is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and coordination skills
