Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Child Development Specialist to join our team at Goodstart Innisfail. This full-time role offers a competitive salary package and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young children.
About the Role
- Work alongside Senior Educators and our Educational Leader to craft and enhance exceptional learning programs for our children;
- Dedicate yourself to safety and inclusivity, ensuring every child feels valued and supported in their learning experiences;
- Become a vital part of our diverse and experienced staff team, committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for our children.
Key Responsibilities
- To develop and implement high-quality educational programs that cater to the unique needs of each age group;
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe and welcoming environment for all children;
- To maintain open communication with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being;
- To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure the highest standards of child safety and care.
Requirements
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent) is essential;
- A strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards is required;
- A current Queensland Working with Children Check is mandatory.
