Job Title: Education and Career Coordinator

Description:
Carmichael College is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational institution. We are seeking an experienced, passionate professional to join our team as an Education and Career Coordinator.

As an Education and Career Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, guardians, and external agencies to maximize educational and career opportunities for students. You will be responsible for developing and delivering Senior Education and Training Plans and pathways for Year 9–12 students in collaboration with your line manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • • Maintaining strong expertise in career pathways and promoting university opportunities and prerequisites;

• Organizing and overseeing the Year 10 Work Experience program;

• Facilitating participation in external events such as university or TAFE open days;

• Developing programs and managing relationships to enable the College to deliver vocational education opportunities to students;

• Contribute to the development of procedures and policies for managing the vocational education program;

Requirements:

• A degree in a relevant field;

• Professional teaching or equivalent experience;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment;

• Commitment to upholding the values and mission of Carmichael College;

• Australian citizenship;

• Practicing Christian;
