Pathways Coordinator - Educational Excellence

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pathways Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering Senior Education and Training (SET) Plans and pathways for Year 9–12 students, in collaboration with their line manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and delivery of SET Plans and pathways for Year 9–12 students.
  • Work with the Head of Senior Studies Coordinator to provide timely feedback and advice to students and parents about academic progress, ATAR projections, and pathway opportunities.
  • Organise and oversee the Year 10 Work Experience program, and facilitate work experience opportunities for other individual students as appropriate.
Vocational Education Opportunities
  • Develop programs and manage relationships to enable the delivery of vocational education opportunities to students, both on campus and in partnership with external agencies.
  • Develop and maintain professional networks and partnerships with external RTOs, ACPs, and businesses to strengthen the VET pathway support network.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures and policies for managing the vocational education program, including exploring future opportunities.
Marketing Events and Team Collaboration
  • Organise and contribute to marketing events across the school year, including Subject Selection Evening, Careers Expo, and online communications.
  • Attend and contribute to relevant team meetings.
  • Maintain teaching competency and knowledge as required, and teach and assess Secondary classes as timetabled where qualified.

This role is open to all applicants. Preference will be given to teaching staff for a full-time position, while non-teaching staff may be considered for a part-time position with negotiation up to full time.
