Asset Quality Manager Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as an Asset Quality Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, physical protection, security and control of all assets.

The successful candidate will have experience in asset acquisition, management, and disposal, with a strong focus on eliminating unnecessary assets and costs. They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage the selection of assets, facilitate lease/purchase quotes and approvals in accordance with Delegations of Authority.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset specification meets fit for purpose requirements of the business, governance, quality and compliance requirements.
  • Manage asset utilisation and eliminate unnecessary assets and costs.
  • Provide repairs and maintenance services, manage fuel card, toll, telematics, infringements, breakdown and accident management services.
  • Maintain accurate records of assets, cost allocation of assets and other applicable databases.
  • Facilitate asset maintenance procedures to ensure ongoing asset fitness for intended purpose, compliance with manufacturers/regulatory specifications and OHS guidelines.
  • Formulate or help formulate quality procedures and plans, and interfaces within the company, with customers, and suppliers on asset quality-related issues.
  • Coordinate the disposal of surplus assets in accordance with Delegations of Authority with the objective of obtaining the best possible financial return for the organization.
  • Provide management reports to assist the business in making informed decisions.
