Culvert Inspector and Risk Assessor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Culvert Inspector and Risk Assessor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of drainage pits and culverts, assessing their condition and identifying any potential risks. They will also perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified issues, document inspection findings, and prepare reports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of drainage pits and culverts
  • Assessing the condition of drainage pits and culverts
  • Identifying potential risks
  • Performing risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
  • Documenting inspection findings and preparing reports

The ideal candidate will have:

">
  • TfNSW Culvert Inspection and Risk Assessment qualification
  • Qualifications in civil/structural engineering, engineering technology, or a relevant trade background
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and software
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Bonus Skills (Desirable but not essential):

  • Level 1, 2, and 3 condition assessment experience
  • ARRB Level 1/2 Inspection Accreditation or similar
  • White Card, EWP ticket, RIW certification, First Aid, Confined Space, Working at Heights
  • Proven experience in infrastructure inspections and risk assessments
