Juniper provides aged care services in Western Australia, dedicated to delivering individualized care that connects older adults with their loved ones and community.
We seek a compassionate support worker to provide personal care and support to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
The successful candidate will empower clients to live safely and independently by providing personalized care and support, including showering, dressing, grooming, and continence care.
They will also assist with medication management and daily living activities, offer social support and companionship, and support clients in maintaining their living spaces through light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Additionally, they will encourage clients to take ownership of their care through person-centered approaches and wellness initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Previous experience in aged care or community care, including personal care and support.
- Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent) – desirable.
- A current Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- A genuine passion for supporting older adults to live independently in their own homes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and patient nature.
- Competitive hourly rate: $34.07 - $35.71 per hour DOE, plus 12% superannuation.
