Senior Academic Advisor for Australia

Are you passionate about assisting students in achieving their academic and professional goals? Do you have an extensive understanding of the Australian educational system and the ability to provide personalized guidance?

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Academic Advisor with expertise in counseling students for study abroad, particularly in Australia. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of admission requirements, visa processing, and documentation related to studying abroad.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Counsel students based on their Academic and Career profile, shortlisting Australian universities and converting them as applicants.
  • Communicate with universities/backend application team for the admission process.
  • Regular student follow-up and maintaining records of existing and prospective clients in the CRM system.
  • Maintaining cordial relations with students throughout the process by clearing their doubts and queries.
  • Explain the advantages of Australian Universities and guide students for future career options.
  • Participate in University events.
  • Coordinate with the team to make student appointments for university visits.
  • Monitor and report to senior managers on the effectiveness of strategies/campaigns.
  • Support execution of destination-wise activity calendars to deliver pipeline leads and conversion targets by intake.
  • Meet targets within set deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in counselling students for study abroad, with a focus on Australia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of the destination and international education systems.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Computer skills including MS Office, Web browsing.
