Job Title

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance across our road and tunnel network, ensuring assets are safe, reliable, and performing at their best.

  • Deliver high-quality maintenance services while optimizing resources and achieving safety, reliability, and durability outcomes.
  • Ensure maintenance activities meet asset standards, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee supplier performance, incident management, hazard reporting, and improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with Contracting Service organizations to optimize maintenance processes.
  • Lead a culture of health, safety, and environment excellence, ensuring policies and standards are embedded across all teams and contractors.
  • Provide accurate maintenance performance reporting and ensure asset registers and condition data are current.
  • Develop your team through coaching, clear priorities, and fostering an inclusive, diverse, and flexible work environment.

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • Significant maintenance asset management experience in complex operational environments, ideally in infrastructure.
  • Experience managing a contracted maintenance provider.
  • Strong compliance and risk management skills, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control assurance.
  • Proven people leadership experience and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A proactive, flexible nature and the resilience to adapt in a constantly changing work environment.

Preferred qualifications include a background in roads or tunnel infrastructure.
