Advanced Clinical Sonographer Specialist

This role involves providing expert medical imaging services to patients at a tertiary referral centre.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality Medical Imaging procedures, ensuring diagnostic imaging is available to clinicians.
- Conduct complex clinical procedures with a high degree of competency, achieving high diagnostic quality.
- Maintain safety in the unit and stay current with all advanced ultrasound practices.
- Evaluate and audit work quality, manage staff performance, and allocate tasks to ensure service coverage.
- Participate in mandatory training and development activities as required by management.
- Hold AHPRA registration to practice as a Radiographer, MRPB of Australia, and possess a valid EPA Radiation Licence.
- Have post-graduate experience in medical ultrasound with accreditation as a Sonographer from the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
- Demonstrate knowledge of establishing clinical protocols, manuals, and quality assurance activities.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills, enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, lead change, and accept responsibility.
