Leisure Lifestyle Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to support residents in participating in engaging activities tailored to their individual needs and care plan.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to:

  • Identify strategies that maximise engagement and promote healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Organise activities for people living with dementia, aiming to maintain independence and promote healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Assess resident's leisure and health needs according to specific purpose under the guidance of an experienced worker.
  • Develop strategies to address challenging behaviour and evaluate their effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification, current First Aid certification, previous experience working as a lifestyle coordinator preferably in an aged care facility, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills.
