About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead our team in designing and delivering engineering projects related to renewable energy.

This role is pivotal in managing projects, collaborating with project teams, and developing specifications and scope of work documents.

Responsibilities include designing renewable power facilities, preparing detailed engineering design reports, conducting feasibility studies, and providing technical support.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing and engineering renewable power facilities, including battery energy storage systems and balance of plant design for renewable generation.
  • Developing specifications and scope of work documents and preparing detailed engineering design reports.
  • Performing feasibility studies for integrating renewable energy sources, energy storage, and other emerging technologies into transmission and distribution networks.
  • Providing technical support to project managers and clients, addressing technical inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Collaborating with the drafting team to create drawing packages for renewable generation balance of plant design.
  • Conducting field visits and inspections to assess distribution infrastructure conditions and identify potential improvements.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with 5-10 years of relevant experience. You should have a sound understanding of industry codes and standards related to power.

You should also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A proactive approach to building client relationships through listening, responsiveness, and effective communication is essential.
