Health, Safety and Environment Manager

As a seasoned Health, Safety, Security and Environmental professional, you will lead the provision of expert advice and guidance on all HSSE matters. Ensure business risks are prevented and mitigated by delivering timely strategy and direction at site level.

  • Provide resolution to issues and monitor integration of health and safety programs including hazard and risk identification, incident reporting and investigation, employee health and well-being initiatives
  • Offer support to site personnel, leadership team and local HSSE Advisors/graduates
  • Participate in incident investigations using ICAM or Taproot processes
  • Capture and report on both leading and lagging HSSE indicators
  • Conduct HSSE inductions and VOC's
  • Develop presentational material to support client and company initiatives
  • Maintain certifications and standards on contracts

Key qualifications include:

  • Significant HSSE experience on oil and gas projects or heavy engineering fields
  • Shutdown, Turnaround and Inspection experience
  • Degree in Occupational Health & Safety and Cert IV Workplace Training & Assessment
  • Current certificates/training: driver's licence, first aid/CPR, working at heights, confined space
  • Accident/incident Investigator trained, e.g. ICAM, Taproot
