As a Mining Support Specialist, you will oversee the assembly and commissioning of all Hitachi mining equipment scheduled for delivery onsite, ensuring timely and professional completion. This includes providing successful machine support by understanding and following basic maintenance practices in line with company standards.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Perform troubleshooting and recommend sustainable solutions to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of issues. Assist with scheduled planned maintenance and forecasting of associated parts to maintain equipment at an acceptable level.
Performance Management: Maintain and manage the performance of Hitachi equipment onsite, ensuring machine availability rates are consistently acceptable. Manage and track Factory – Dealer – Customer communications to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of machine engineering issues.
RequirementsWe are seeking a dynamic individual with proven experience in mining or related industries, with a focus on engineering maintenance leadership or technical/product support roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, proficiency in interpreting schematics, drawings, and manuals, and exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
