About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Design and Services Manager to join our team at Hindmarsh Construction.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our design and services management functions across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our Design Management plan to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure our design and services management requirements are met, and our systems and processes are understood and implemented.
  • Manage and oversee Design Managers and Services Managers across the business, including workforce resource planning.
  • Support the Design Team in business development events, representing the company with industry bodies and associations.
  • Lead our strategy and approach to sustainability and embodied carbon.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a Design Manager, Design Consultant, or Project Manager role within a building contractor (Tier 1 or Tier 2).
  • Proven experience across various project types, including commercial, education, health, data centers, industrial, and projects exceeding $50M+.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant construction legislation, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficient in using Aconex, Bluebeam, and other construction software programs.
  • Advanced user of CAD and BIM technology.
