Remedial Engineering Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to excel in the field of remedial engineering, managing client portfolios for annual inspections and diagnostic and remedial work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee field operations to maintain high standards for technical performance, constructability, and professional liability.
  • Collaborate with clients to balance design requirements with project schedules and resources.
  • Develop and present proposals that meet clients' needs and expectations.
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants, surveyors, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Engage in preliminary design discussions with clients, councils, and other relevant parties.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to clients and management.
  • Document key discussions, decisions, and outcomes related to project supervision.
  • Ensure professional service delivery, organisational learning, continuous improvement, and staff development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in facades/remedial work, with working at heights training and rope access certifications.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • In-depth understanding of building sector standards and legislation.
  • Well-developed construction and assessment skills, with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.
  • Strong ability to multitask, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
