About the Role
Delivering exceptional standards of patient-centred care is at the forefront of our renowned Centre of Excellence.
We are seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our Movement Disorders outpatient clinic, providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation and targeted feedback to patients with suspected neurodegenerative disease and movement disorders.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality neuropsychological assessments and provide empathic and patient-centred care in your assessments, feedback, and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including neurologists, geriatricians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists, social worker, dietician, and clinical nurse consultant.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to patient care, working closely with a supportive psychology senior.
- Contribute to training and education opportunities, both within the clinic and across Monash Health.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated Neuropsychologist who:
Has enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn within the structured outpatient diagnostic setting.Is passionate about providing care for those with suspected neurodegenerative disease and those with movement disorders.Can demonstrate collaborative, flexible thinking towards hypothesis testing.Has effective written and verbal communication skills to a multi-disciplinary audience.Is able to work autonomously and as part of a team.What We Offer
