About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated occupational therapist to deliver person-centered care in the NDIS and community sectors. As an occupational therapist, you will work with individuals to identify their functional abilities, limitations, and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals to identify their functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans and intervention strategies to maximise independence, functional capacity, and quality of life.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop holistic care plans and ensure person-centered support.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance daily living skills, cognitive abilities, mobility, and self-care.
  • Provide education and support to clients, caregivers, and support workers to enhance their understanding of occupational therapy interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and regulatory changes within the NDIS and community sectors.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
  • Current APHRA registration.
  • Valid Australian driver's license.
  • Current or willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
