About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and meticulous individual to join our team as a Cleaner and Support Worker in our aged care facility in Blackburn. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
  • Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner, providing support and companionship.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas, following established cleaning protocols.
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.
