At Regis Aged Care Homes, we are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Assistant.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents by providing a supportive and engaging lifestyle experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in carrying out lifestyle assessments of residents
- Promote happiness, wellbeing and quality of life for residents
- Assist in delivery of various workshops, social and other activities
- Actively participate in the delivery of activity programs
- Document any changes to resident's activities or as required by Occupational Health & Safety
- Communicate with residents and their families
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (desirable)
- Pro active and energetic self starter with strong customer service focus
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge regarding the ACFI framework (desirable)
- Experience using a computerised Care Management System (desirable)
- An eagerness to grow and develop career in Aged Care
