The Role
Veolia ANZ is looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to enhance our financial operations. This is a permanent full-time position.
In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team and report directly to the National Credit Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to manage debtor accounts effectively, ensuring compliance with the Company's policies. This includes safeguarding the company's financial interests, optimizing cash flow, minimizing losses, and enhancing the recovery of outstanding debts across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing debtor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments while maintaining debts within acceptable limits.
- Engaging proactively with customers and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate cash collections.
- Addressing disputes with regular follow-ups or escalations as necessary.
- Generating accurate and timely reports to monitor account statuses.
- Reviewing and analyzing performance against established KPIs in collaboration with the Manager, ensuring clear communication of targets and results.
- Reducing aged debt effectively.
What You Will Need
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
