Your Future Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Coordinator to join our team at the Wulkuraka Maintenance Facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in coordinating and delivering training activities for our maintenance personnel. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct training needs analysis for the QNGR operation to identify areas for improvement and develop training programs to address these needs.
  • Create training manuals and training content to support the development of our team members.
  • Develop and maintain existing training manuals and technical documentation to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant.
  • Collect and analyze data from training activities to measure their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and deliver training for the operation, including inductions and competency assessments.
  • Conduct competency assessments for a variety of tasks to ensure that our team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Report on training and competency activities to ensure that our team members are meeting the required standards.

Requirements

  • A patient and calm demeanor, with the ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • The proven ability to communicate effectively and deliver training in a professional manner.
  • IT savvy with experience using MS Office tools.
  • Experience in a similar role, coordinating and delivering training in an operational/maintenance environment.
  • A trade background in Electrical/Electronics.
  • A QLD Electrical licence (preferred).
