Senior Payroll Specialist

You are a key player in the smooth operation of our payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Process new starters into various systems, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
- Conduct daily payroll audits to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
- Set up labour hire employees in systems for clocking in and out, streamlining their integration into our operations.
- Manage end-to-end payrolls for fortnightly, weekly, and monthly pays, including associated activities such as overpayment recovery, superannuation, and leave management.
- Variations to pays and other employee conditions and benefits require your attention to detail and expertise.
- Process workcover reimbursements with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and secure payroll records, adhering to legislative requirements.
- Provide exceptional support to stakeholders, addressing all payroll queries and concerns promptly.
- Prior experience in payroll is essential for this role.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
- Strong numerical skills and intermediate Excel abilities are necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, taxation, superannuation, legislation, awards, agreements, and contracts of employment is crucial.
- Honesty, integrity, and confidentiality are paramount.
- The ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively within a team environment is vital.
