About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our Digital Solutions team, focused on BlastIQ software products and the ODS Platform. Our team connects our customers' physical and digital worlds, enabling them to understand and optimise their operations across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions for our BlastIQ products and ODS Platform.
  • Work with product managers, business analysts, UX, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Lead a team of engineers, prioritising work across multiple projects and ensuring seamless integration with customer needs.
  • Design database and contract schemas, delivering highly available cloud services and engineering reliable and secure cloud microservices and APIs.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in cloud application architecture, preferably in multi-tenanted SaaS.
  • Deep understanding of database design, effective communication skills and experience mentoring others.
  • Experience leading a team of engineers, preferably managing managers, and working with data in various forms.
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorisation, as well as experience with event sourcing and domain event design.

About Our Technology Stack

  • .NET 8 C# services communicating via events and HTTP APIs.
  • React Web UIs using TypeScript.
  • Mobile apps written in .NET MAUI.
  • Duende Identity Server for authentication.
  • Azure PaaS services and data stores, including Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Event Hubs, Service Bus, and Azure Blob Storage.
