We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Engineering to join our team at the State Government Of Victoria, Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our engineering process and the implementation of our energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of diverse resources to provide quality and timely technical advice and support to our projects.
- Direct engineering and design processes to ensure project objectives are achieved within design and cost parameters.
- Establish and maintain detailed design management procedures and processes, including design budget and cost control.
- Identify, procure, and manage external engineering services and expertise as needed.
- Extensive experience in directing and providing engineering advice on technical and operational aspects of complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical expertise in infrastructure design and design management, including understanding of design and engineering issues through all phases of the construction project life cycle.
- A relevant qualification in Engineering or Science-related discipline is mandatory.
- Victorian Professional Engineering Registration or credentials that allow for a successful application of the REPV are mandatory.
