We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team at Yooralla in the East region. As a Speech Pathologist, you will work with adults with a disability to provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community to support clients to achieve their goals.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication skills and/or mealtime safety and promote overall health and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists to provide comprehensive support to clients.
- Provide indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals.
- Established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them, and build their capability.
- Ability to work in partnership with adults with a disability to set and achieve goals.
- Current membership with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Australian driver's licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across the Eastern region of Melbourne as required.
