Data Specialist Role

We are seeking a Data Specialist to join our Clinical Research Team. This role involves working closely with research sites to manage and optimize data from our studies. You will ensure secure access, high-quality control, and actionable insights that support innovation and patient safety.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in data management, data privacy, and research operations. As a Data Specialist, you will be responsible for turning complex data into actionable insights. Your excellent collaboration, documentation, and organizational skills will enable you to contribute to analytics projects and develop research skills that deliver real value to patients and stakeholders.

  • Clinical Data Management: Handle global study datasets, ensure secure access, maintain data quality, and coordinate corrections.
  • Study & Operational Support: Support study setup, monitoring, close-out, and database maintenance.
  • Documentation & Scientific Contributions: Assist with research proposals, contracts, literature reviews, and scientific outputs.
  • Training & Process Improvement: Train users, contribute to SOPs and eQMS documentation, and improve data workflow.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, bioengineering, or a related field with a focus on data management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven teamwork ability.
  • High attention to detail, accountability, and integrity in handling large datasets.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
