Lead Mental Health Practitioner

This is a senior role combining leadership, clinical expertise and service development to ensure high-quality care for young people.

As Lead Clinical Practitioner, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health support, providing guidance on complex cases and contributing to ongoing service development.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve mental health services.
  • Provide clinical supervision to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain effective relationships.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of training programs for mental health professionals.
  • Support the development of policies and procedures to ensure best practice in mental health care.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary degree qualification relevant to the role, such as psychology or social work.
  • Registration with a relevant professional body, such as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Extensive experience working with clients experiencing trauma, ideally in a child and family setting.
  • Experience leading and managing teams in a clinical environment.
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence and Working With Children Check.
  • The right to work in Australia.
