Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Secondary Teacher to join our academic team.

This is a full time, ongoing position commencing at our school. Reporting to the Head of Science, you will be responsible for working with a highly skilled and passionate academic team and teaching across a range of subjects including science and other related disciplines.

Our curriculum allows our students to develop their skills through working independently and collaboratively in a range of subjects. Exciting opportunity for the right person to develop and introduce new methodologies to enhance student engagement.

With a strong ability to teach Years 7-12, you will have a student-centred approach to the delivery of curriculum and classroom management, and you will challenge and support students both pastorally and academically.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a range of subjects including science and other related disciplines.
  • Develop and introduce new methodologies to enhance student engagement.
  • Challenge and support students both pastorally and academically.

Our ideal candidate will possess relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). They will also have a strong background in teaching General Education and be able to use technology to support their teaching.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • A strong background in teaching General Education.
  • Competent in using data to inform your pedagogies.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
