Strategic Defence Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and leading the development and submission of proposals.
The role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a technical role, preferably in sales or business development, and a current Defence Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain NV1).
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Defence sector
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, military organisations, and prime contractors
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and tenders for Defence contracts
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable and strategic partnerships
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Demonstrated experience in sales or business development role
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a technical role, preferably in sales or business development
- Current Defence Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain NV1)
- Experience and understanding of the Defence Market
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience with managing multiple stakeholders
