Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer or Associate to join our Corporate and Commercial section in Perth.

This role offers the chance to work with a talented team known for its energy, business insight, and legal expertise – nationally and internationally. Our clients receive commercially focused legal advice on all aspects of corporate law and regulation affecting public and private companies, private equity firms, and management teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
  • Equity capital markets (ECM) transactions
  • Joint ventures, offtake, and farm-ins
  • Regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance advice
Essential Requirements
  • 2-4 years' post-admission experience in corporate and commercial law
  • Experience in the energy and resources sector, including relevant laws and regulations
  • Corporate/commercial law experience, including transaction document drafting and due diligence assistance
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, research, and communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • A genuine passion for contributing to our corporate practice's growth and success
  • A team-player who can work autonomously within a supportive environment

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate law and be able to provide expert advice on mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, joint ventures, and regulatory matters. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication skills, are essential for this role.
