About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team at Grinders Coffee, a leading coffee company in Australia. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily cupping sessions to evaluate the quality of our coffee products
  • Perform line checks, raw materials, and product testing to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Liaise with production, warehouse staff, and other cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement preventive actions
  • Conduct maintenance and internal calibration of test equipment as per schedule
  • Collect and analyze data for compliance with respective requirements
  • Manage calibration and laboratory equipment servicing for compliance with standard requirements
  • Ensure GMP audit is conducted and samples are collected for ATP testing as per schedule
  • Implement corrective actions for identified non-conformance in a timely manner
  • Manage customer and consumer complaints in a timely manner
  • Participate in operational reviews, compliance audits, shift handovers, and planning meetings to ensure quality requirements are met
  • Ensure risks are controlled to acceptable levels before work commences and regular review of risk controls occur

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Science/Technology, Science, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the food or beverage industry
  • Strong technical skills and experience using SAP ECC, Salesforce, and Integrum
  • Ability to innovate and focus on continuous improvement
  • Knowledgeable in various certification standards such as Rainforest Alliance, ACO, Halal, Kosher, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and familiarity with FSANZ standards
