About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team at Grinders Coffee, a leading coffee company in Australia. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing quality control measures to prevent defects and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily cupping sessions to ensure the quality of our coffee products
  • Perform line checks, raw materials, and product testing to determine whether they meet specifications and quality standards
  • Liaise with production, warehouse staff, and other cross-functional teams to ensure quality issues are addressed and preventive actions are followed
  • Conduct maintenance and internal calibration of all test equipment as per schedule
  • Collect and analyze data for compliance to respective requirements
  • Manage calibration and laboratory equipment servicing for compliance to standard requirements of these programs
  • Ensure that GMP audit is conducted and samples are collected for ATP testing as per the schedule
  • Ensure appropriate corrective action for identified non-conformance is completed in full and on time
  • Ensure customer and consumer complaints are managed in a timely manner
  • Participate in operational reviews, compliance audits, shift handovers, and planning meetings to ensure that quality requirements are met to assist delivery of business KPIs
  • Ensure risks are controlled to acceptable levels before work commences and regular review of risk controls occur

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Science/Technology, Science, or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role within food or beverages
  • Strong technical skills and experience using SAP ECC, Salesforce, and Integrum
  • Ability to innovate and focus on continuous improvement
  • Knowledgeable in various certification standards such as Rainforest Alliance, ACO, Halal, Kosher, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and familiarity with FSANZ standards
