Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled Patisserie Professional to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the creation of exquisite culinary experiences for our discerning guests.

  • About The Role: As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastry dishes, including cakes, breads, and pastries. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to ensure that all menu items meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
  • Your Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate effectively with your colleagues to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
  2. Maintain accurate temperature control and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
  3. Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
  4. Monitor food quantities and portions served to ensure efficient service.
  5. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including portioning, chopping, and storing.
  6. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables as needed.
  7. Keep the kitchen area clean and well-maintained at all times.
  8. Participate in food preparation and cooking activities, including baking and cooking duties.
  9. Set up, clean, and break down your workstation after each use.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable. A trade qualification or equivalent in Pastry Arts is essential.
  • Skills: Strong food safety knowledge, excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously, passion for food, and aspirations to grow your culinary career.
