Job Title: Creative Design Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our design team as a Creative Design Assistant. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and development of boardshort ranges from concept to production.
  • Create new blocks, fabrics, and concepts that push the category forward.
  • Assist with fittings, approvals, and development alongside the Product Development team.
  • Contribute to injection ranges and SMU styles when needed.
  • Maintain technical yardage and print techniques consistent across regions.

Creativity & Innovation:

  • Stay on top of global surf and youth fashion trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Foster a strong creative direction across all boardshort ranges.
  • Support the evolution of key product segments like Pro Mirage, Mirage, and Layday.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • A motivated, enthusiastic approach to design and teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, trims, and fabrics.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • A genuine belief in the brand values.
