Design Creative Assistant

About this role
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our Fashion Apparel team. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for assisting with both creative and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:- Support the design team from concept to final product creation
- Assist with production and sample management, including communicating changes internally and ensuring accurate color matching
- Organize and track marketing samples for campaigns and e-commerce shoots
- Keep showroom and sample areas organized and up-to-date
- Provide creative support for new collection development, staying ahead of fashion trends and providing inspiration for future designs
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Formal qualification in Fashion Design (desired but not essential)
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience in a similar fashion or retail design role
- A keen eye for textiles, garment construction, and product development
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration ability
- A proactive attitude with problem-solving skills
- A positive mindset and strong team player
