UPS Systems Installation and Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to perform various duties related to the installation, testing, commissioning, servicing and repairing of UPS products and systems for critical power applications.
",{1}Key Responsibilities:- Installation and Maintenance: Perform duties with high regard for safe working practices and compliance with EHS protocols. Install and maintain critical power equipment and perform in-house and on-site repairs as required in accordance with service and maintenance agreements.
- Liaison and Documentation: Liaise with Project Management to carry out site inspection, commissioning, and testing of critical power systems, including creating or modifying documentation and reports for submission.
- Technical Support and Training: Provide technical assistance, support and training to Technical Staff, Service Contractors, and customers where required.
- Emergency Response: Respond to requests for emergency repairs and provide rostered standby support 24/7.
- FAT/SAT Testing and Reporting: Perform FAT/SAT testing on units and prepare detailed reports on tests carried out.
We are looking for an experienced technician with a strong background in electrical or power electronics equipment. The ideal candidate will have a grade electrician qualification and at least 5 years' experience in a technical role servicing electrical or power electronics equipment.
